How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent local provider from our network. Gatenba Concrete makes the introduction. The provider answers your questions, reviews your project and gives you a quote. That provider is a separate business.
What Happens on the First Conversation
First, the provider asks about your project. Next, they may ask for photos or a visit to see the site. Then they explain the steps and give a written quote.
Have these ready:
- Your address area and the size of the space
- Photos from a few angles
- Notes on finish, color or stamped patterns
- Any drainage worries, such as pooling after heavy rain
What to Ask an Independent Provider
Use this checklist:
1. Is the quote in writing, with scope and price? 2. How will the base be prepared? 3. Where will control joints go? 4. How will water drain away from the house? 5. What is the plan for concrete flatwork edges and finishing? 6. When should I seal the slab? 7. Do you hold a license and carry insurance? Ask to see proof. 8. If the area is near the foundation, do you work with foundation repair experts?
Costs vary by job. Typical U.S. ranges depend on size, thickness, finish and site access, so compare written quotes.
You Are in Control
You can ask questions, request more than one quote, or step away. There is no obligation. Keep a folder with your photos, notes and quotes so you can compare them side by side.
Take your time with each quote. Look at what is included, such as base prep, thickness, reinforcement and cleanup. A different price may simply reflect a different scope, so ask the provider to explain any gap.
